Barbara Roberts, Library Director
Director of the Pelham Library since 1985, Barbara oversees the daily operations of the library. She has a B.A. in English and a M.A. in history from the University of Montevallo as well as a M.L.S. in Library Service from the Univeristy of Alabama. She is past Secretary of the Alabama Library Association, an alumni of Leadership Shelby County, and an officer in the Public Library Directors Council of Alabama. Barbara is a member of the American Library Association, Public Library Association and Alabama Library Association.

Adult Services Librarian – Maria DentMaria oversees ordering materials for adults, plans senior citizen programs and manages the Reference Department. She has a B.A. in political science from the University of Dayton, a M.A. in Linguistics and English as a Second Language from Ohio University and an M.L.S. in Library Service from the University of Alabama.
Youth Services Librarian – Lori BrownLori oversees ordering materials for children, plans children's programs and manages the Junior Librarian Program. Lori has a B.A. in history and mass communication from the University of Montevallo and an M.L.S. from the University of Alabama.
Circulation Manager – Frances BullardFrances manages the Circulation Desk, overdues and interlibrary loans.
Reference Assistant – David Smith
David assists managing the Reference Department. He has a B.S. in criminal justice from U.A.B and is working toward an M.L.S at the University of Alabama.
Senior Citizen Aide – Regina Jimenez
Regina assists in the Reference Department. She also assists with the coordination of programs for senior citizens. Regina has a B.S. in psychology from UAB. She also has an M.Ed. from the University of Montevallo.
Technical Services/Cataloging – Gail Hayes
Gail catalogs materials for the library and helps maintain the catalog database.
Computer Instructor/Reference Assistant – Cheryl FoustCheryl assists with the Reference Desk and teaches computer software classes.
Children's Assistant – Maylene BambargerMaylene assists with children's programs and works the Circulation and Reference Desks.
Circulation Assistant – Kati UlvenKati assists with the Circulation Desk and children's programs.
Circulation Assistant – Celena CollettCelena assists with the Circulation and Reference Desks.
