Certificates of Commendation

The Pelham Police Department held an awards ceremony on June 30, 2010 to honor Officer James Campbell, Officer Mike Taquino and Officer Chuck Bradley for their meritorious achievement during the performance of their duties.  It is with great honor we recognize Officer Campbell, Officer Taquino and Officer Bradley for a job well done.

Officer James Campbell was awarded a Certificate of Commendation for meritorious achievement in the performance of his duties performed on February 6, 2010.  On February 6, 2010 Officer Campbell observed a suspicious vehicle leaving a closed business.  Officer Campbell apprehended the suspect on scene and it was determined that the suspect was wanted in connection with multiple burglaries in Pelham, Alabaster, Hoover and Vestavia.

Officer Mike Taquino was awarded a Certificate of Commendation for meritorious achievement in the performance of his duties performed on April 2, 2010.  On April 2, 2010 Officer Taquino responded with Fire Department Personnel to a patient that was in full arrest.  Officer Taquino provided CPR compressions with members of the Pelham Fire Department in an attempt to save the life of a Pelham citizen.

Officer Chuck Bradley was awarded a Certificate of Commendation for meritorious achievement in the performance of his duties performed on February 20, 2010.  On February 20, 2010 Officer Bradley was patrolling local businesses and located a burglary in progress.  Officer Bradley apprehended the suspect on scene and it was determined that the suspect was wanted in connection with multiple burglaries in Pelham, Hoover and Alabaster.
