Visitors are welcome at the Pelham Civic Complex for a session of ice skating, or if tennis is your game, the Pelham Racquet Club will be happy to schedule a match.  Both facilities are state of the art.

Oak Mountain State Park, the largest state park in Alabama, is right in Pelham’s backyard.  Scenic hiking trails, horseback riding, a petting farm for youngsters, fishing, boating and golf are just a few of the activities offered at this beautiful park located on 10,000 acres.  For more information, please link to http://www.bham.net/oakmtn/

The American Village, just 15 minutes from Pelham, is one of Alabama’s best-kept secrets.  It is a nationally pioneering civic education center and historical village. The city park offers a wonderful playground for children, a walking track and picnic areas.
