Title:   Sewer Operator - Grade 2
Salary:  Range is $30,358 to $34,389

Alabama Waste Water Grade 2 Certification required

Description/Duties:  Operates sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment in wastewater (sewage) treatment plant to control flow and processing of sewage; monitors control panels and adjusts valves and gates manually or by other methods to control and regulate flow of sewage; maintains log of operations and records meter and gauge readings; may include other duties associated with operations and maintenance of the sewer treatment plant; some weekend work is required for on call assignments.
