Players ages 6-10 can come learn about this inexpensive 10-week program that will introduce you to this exciting sport. The Play Day will put you on the courts with area tennis Professionals and representatives from the USTA* the same organization that champion players like Venus & Serena Williams, Pete Sampras, Roger Federer, and others started in when they were young.
Students will play with others their age to get a one-day introduction to what QuickStart is all about and what it involves. Representatives from USTA will be on hand, area Pros will be teaching in groups, and registration and materials will be available. Don’t miss this unique opportunity.
This is a one-of-a-kind program that is not offered anywhere else in the Shelby County area. No experience is needed to participate. The game is on and all we need is you!
Each player will need a racquet, please wear athletic shoes, and bring water/sports drinks. Students will be active for more than 90 minutes during the event. Parents encouraged to watch, ask questions, and get involved!
*USTA is the United States Tennis Association which serves as the organizational body of the sport of tennis in the Country.
