2. Ordinance No. 135-153 changing the present zoning of R-1 Residential District to Special District on property located at 825 Highway 361. Applicant - Kerry Carter

Minutes of the April 5, 2004 meeting:
The Pelham City Council convened at 7 p.m., Monday, April 5, 2004. Mayor Hayes called the meeting to order, and Willard Payne led the invocation.
Mayor Hayes asked that the record show all members of the council present.
Willard Payne moved to waive the oral reading of the March 15, 2004 minutes and approve as presented. Rosemary Metcalf seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
There was no old business to come before the council.
During new business, a resolution was introduced accepting a bid from E-Z-Go for $252,575.00 for golf carts for Ballantrae Golf Club. Jim Phillips moved to approve the resolution as presented. Willard Payne seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
An ALDOT Agreement and Resolution for Amendment 666 Funds was presented. Karyl Rice moved to approve the resolution authorizing the execution of the agreement as presented. Rosemary Metcalf seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
A resolution was presented concerning the Municipal Water Pollution Prevention Program. Rosemary Metcalf moved to approve the resolution as presented. Karyl Rice seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
A resolution was presented authorizing the following streetlights:
Crosscreek Cove Subdivision (Garden Homes): S-11044, S-11045, S-11046
Crosscreek Cove Subdivision (Town Homes): S-11401, S-11397, S-11396
Oaklyn Hills Phase II Subdivision: S-9651, S-9653, S-9655
Wild Timber Subdivision (Section 2): S-11402, S-11403, S-11404
Jim Phillips moved to approve the resolution as presented. Rosemary Metcalf seconded the motion and all approved.
A resolution was introduced accepting and approving streets for Midridge Village Phase One. Willard Payne moved to approve the resolution as presented. Rosemary Metcalf seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Ordinance No. 398 was introduced annexing the right of way for the road to the back entrance of Ballantrae. Jim Phillips moved to suspend the rules for immediate consideration. Willard Payne seconded the motion and a roll call vote was taken with the following vote recorded: Yeas: Mayor Hayes, Willard Payne, Mike Dickens, Rosemary Metcalf, Karyl Rice, Jim Phillips Nay: None
Thereupon, Jim Phillips moved to approve Ordinance No. 398 as written. Rosemary Metcalf seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Karyl Rice made the following public hearing announcements for April 19, 2004 at 7 p.m.: (1) Ordinance No. 135-152 changing the present zoning of R-1 Dwelling District to M-1 Light Industrial District on property located at 461 Highway 361. Applicant – Barbara Cupp (2) Ordinance No. 135-153 changing the present zoning of R-1 Residential District to Special District on property located at 825 Highway 361. Applicant - Kerry Carter.
With no other business before the council, Willard Payne moved to adjourn. Mike Dickens seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
The meeting adjourned at 7:17 p.m.
