City Passes Occupancy Ordinance
1/9/2007  Limiting number of occupants in residential structures
The Pelham City Council passed Ordinance No. 429, limiting the number of occupants in residential structures, on January 8, 2007.  The ordinance becomes effective on January 14, 2007, five days after posting.

The ordinance was written to control overcrowding in residential structures in order to insure good health, sanitation, safety, order, comfort, convenience and general welfare of the inhabitants of the city.
