PUBLIC NOTICE
Pelham Zoning Ordinance Update
The Planning Commission of the City of Pelham will conduct the first of two public hearings on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 7:00 PM at which time any person desiring to do so may offer comments, suggestions, or speak in favor of or against the consideration and/or adoption of the update to the “Zoning Ordinance” of the City of Pelham. At and subsequent to said public hearing, the Planning Commission will consider and/or vote on the adoption of the zoning ordinance update and the revised zoning map.
A copy of the draft of the zoning ordinance update and the proposed revisions to the zoning map will be available for review beginning Monday, May 21, 2007 during regular business hours (Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the exception of Monday, May 28, 2007, Memorial Day) at Pelham City Hall. Anyone wishing to make written observations or comments is encouraged to mail them to P.O. Box 1419 Pelham, AL 35124 by June 8, 2007. After adoption by the Planning Commission the zoning ordinance update and proposed revisions to the zoning map will be submitted to the City Council for consideration and adoption.
