| The Pelham City Council passed Ordinance No. 199-2 at their April 1, 2002 meeting. The ordinance establishes a speed limit of thirty -five (35) miles per hour on any section of Shelby County Highway 33 that lies within the corporate limits of the City of Pelham, except that the speed limit shall be twenty-five (25) miles per hour between the school zone signs during posted school hours.
