The Pelham Police Department will be accepting applications and administering an examination to fill future dispatcher vacancies. Applications may be obtained in person from the Pelham Police and Court Building Records Department, 3174 Church St, Pelham, AL 35124 or online at pelhamonline.com. Applications will be accepted in person or by postal mail at the Pelham Police Department, 3174 Church St., Pelham, AL 35124. Hand delivered applications will be accepted between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday only. To qualify to take the dispatcher exam you must have a completed application for dispatcher on file by 4:00 PM on Thursday, May 21, 2009. The exam will be administered on Tuesday, May 26 at 1:00 PM and Tuesday, June 02 at 9:00 AM. Upon receipt of a qualified application, you will be contacted regarding your assigned test date and time.
