Pelham Racquet Club member Johnny Setser was named "League Player of the Year" by the Alabama Tennis Association. Johnny's tremendous 2002 season earned him this honor of which he is the first ever receipient. A consistent and successful year that started in January and carried on thru November. Johnny set the bar high for anyone wishing to win this award in succeeding years! Johnny played the top positions with a winning record and led his teams to State titles in men's, men's combo doubles, and mixed doubles competition.
