The success of this year's Ballantrae Challenger has prompted the USTA Professional Circuit and the Women's Tennis Association to announce the tournament will return for 2005 at the Pelham Racquet Club. The event was well received by the community, the players, and the USTA staff. Co-Tournament Directors Ann Etheredge and Bob Patterson put together the event in only three weeks after it was cancelled at it's previous location. The tremendous response by the community in such a short time helped make the tournament so successful.

Thanks to all the sponsors, staff, volunteers, and patrons that made the Ballantrae Challenger a big success! We are pleased to have the tournament again next year and look forward to seeing everyone for another great week of professional tennis!
