Pelham's 40th Birthday Party - Pelham Jubilee, will be held on July 10, 2004 at the Pelham Civic Complex.   FREE activities are planned for the entire family.  From 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. children can enjoy free ice skating, get their face painted by Magic Town Clowns, watch The Magic Man do tricks, play on inflatable activities and win prizes at carnival games.  The Pelham Skate School will offer free ice skating lessons from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.  Children must pre-register for the lessons by calling 620-6448 x 118.  The Pelham Police Department will be offering free finger-printing kits for the children in attendance.  Local restaurants will have booths selling a variety of food.  Beginning at 4:30 p.m. the music begins with four bands entertaining the audience with music sure to please everyone. Come dance to the music of MUSE, Dr. Feelgood, The Ray Goss Band and The Sweet Young'Uns.  The Culinard at Virginia College will cater the evening event. This event is sponsored by The City of Pelham, Charter Communications, Regions Bank, Issis & Sons Carpet and Oriental Rugs, Alabama Power, Alagasco,  Remax Realty and Ballantrae, A Mobley Development, Inc.
