The Clubhouse which resembles a Scottish manor house is under construction and according to the construction management team will be completed August 1, 2004.  The course will open on June 1 and will operate out of a completed portion of the clubhouse during the months of June and July.

The Alabama Golf Association will be rating the course in the very near future, and the distance markers will be in place on the sprinkler heads soon.  More definite plans regarding the opening of the golf course will appear on this site as they are finalized, so please check often for current updates concerning Ballantrae Golf Club.

Directions to Ballantrae Golf Club:  From U.S. 31 in Pelham, turn onto County Road (CR) 52E and continue to the stop sign at CR 11.  Turn right on CR 11 and go 1.3 miles to the second Weatherly entrance.  Turn left on Weatherly Club Drive and continue straight ahead to Ballantrae Parkway.  The golf course is located on Ballantrae Club Drive.  THE GOLF COURSE IS NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AT THIS TIME DUE TO ON-GOING CONSTRUCTION.  Please obey the posted signs restricting entry to the property.  They are there for your safety. 

Although the golf property is in a restricted area, you may drive along other roads in the Ballantrae subdivision and view the area along with several houses currently under construction.
