Q. |
Who is responsible for repairing a leak between the water meter and my house? |
A. |
The water line running from the meter to a house or business belongs to the owner; therefore, it is the owner’s responsibility to repair the leak. If the leak is at the meter box please call the Water Works so someone can be dispatched to determine who is responsible for repairing the leak.
