The Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce recognized 4 Pelham Firefighters at their 2002 Safety Awards Luncheon.  The men recognized were Firefighter Bill Jones, Firefighter Chris Carpenter, Lieutenant Ricky King and Firefighter Lincoln Stewart. These men were recognized for their efforts and dedication to the Pelham Fire Department and for their dedication and committment to The United States of America.  In addition to being employees of the Pelham Fire Department, each of these men are members of the United States Military and each served on active duty during the past year.
