CONCESSIONS WORKER ~ The City of Pelham is currently accepting applications for the part-time position of Concession Workers at the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena. This job includes supporting the Food services provided by the Civic Complex, and may include but not limited to the following:
- Operates Point of Sale system; May be responsible for opening and closing and nightly clean-up;
- Preparation of food and drinks
- Must be willing to work weekends and/or evenings
High school diploma or GED required. Must be 21 years of age. Experience in customer service greatly desired! Valid driver’s license required. Beginning rate is $10.00 hour. In compliance with the Alabama Ethics Commission, this seasonal position is allowed to accept tips.
Applicant must satisfactorily pass a Background Investigation and pre-employment drug screen after receiving conditional offer of employment. DISPATCHER ~ The City of Pelham will be accepting applications for employment and entrance testing for the position of Dispatcher in the Pelham Police Department.
This sheet has been prepared to assist you in the completion of the application and submitting the completed application for the test. It is preferred that you complete the application by using the link below for a PDF fillable form; handwritten is acceptable, but MUST be legible, using black ink. (Applications received in pencil will be disqualified.) Blank applications may also be picked up at City Hall, Ground Floor, Human Resources, 3162 Pelham Parkway, Pelham, AL 35124, beginning at 8:00AM, Wednesday, July 6, 2016 through Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 5:00PM. City Hall is open Monday through Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM.

Testing will be approximately one and a half (1.5) hours in length. No communication devices are allowed in the testing area.
